How close is Disney to Orlando Studios? I know I have read the shuttle bus will take people from certain?
hotels to Disney, but will any of these SAME hotels also shuttle to Orlando Studios? Or do we need to plan on taking a cab or renting a car for a couple of days?
Sorry, yes, Universal Studios.
We are having the same dilemma right now! We’re going to stay in Disney, but would like to spend 2 days at Universal. If you’re staying onsite at Disney, the best transportation option to Universal is probably the Lynx bus service (www.golynx.com) because it is only $1-$2/person one way. renting a car would cost around $200 and cab may be somewhere around $60. The downside to the bus service is that it is hard to understand their routes. However, if you mouse over the green “Customer Service” link at the top right, there is an option to contact them about Route Assistance. To request assistance, you must know the addresses of both Disney and Universal Studios. We just put in our hotel’s name as the Disney address and 6000 Universal Boulevard
Orlando, FL 32819 for Universal.
If you’re staying offsite, your hotel will more than likely have shuttles to Disney and Universal Studios. If not, try the Lynx bus service for that. All in all, I think renting a car is the worst choice.
