People who have used someone elses disneyland annual pass?
My idiot friend wants me to go using his brothers pass, but the thing is that I might be screwed if i get caught. So how strict is the procedure when using the annual pass?
They can be strict.
Several months ago they added in color monitors at the entrances that pops up with the picture of the AP holder assigned to the card. This is much better than the small B&W picture on the pass itself. They did this for the exact reason you are describing. People were attempting to share the passes, once they put in the color monitors it made it much more difficult, if not impossible. Remember that the cast members at the entrance do this for several hours a day, after that much “practice” they are pretty good at catching things like this. If the picture does not match and you can not prove it is you, you and his brother will have problems.
You will not be allowed entry, but that is about as much trouble you will get in, at least with Disneyland. I can’t speak for the trouble that you might be in with him or his family.
They will most likey configate the pass. If his brother is under 18 they will probably contact his parents and just return the pass. If he is over 18, they will probably VOID the pass and his brother will loose it. In extreame circumstances they can, and have, bared people from purchasing another pass and entering Disneyland.
